Div 1 Week 26 – Zone Bowling Rooty Hill – 31 August
The division bowled 3½ pins over average at Rooty Hill with 32 200 games and 1 700 and 8 600 series. The high game went to Chris Greaves 277, Robert Mitreski 267, Brett Foster 250, Chris again 244, Garry Ridgeway 238, Wolf Miller 236 and 233, with Robert Ellison also scoring 233 and Bob Quinn on 230. Leaders Bowlarama Blackjacks won 10-9 and extended their lead to 16½ points as 2nd place Tenpin City Dark Knights lost 10-9 to Gosford Grenades. 3rd place Bowlarama Gorillas won 14-5 as did 4th place Wetherill Park Guns. Rooty Hill Rogues won 12-7 and Fairfield Underdogs scored 16 on the bye. The high game went to Guns 1018 and 976, followed by Dark Knights 965 and Campbelltown City Chihuahuas 945. The series went to Guns 2810, Chihuahuas 2754 and Dark Knights 2723.
Div 2 Week 27 – Zone Bowling Rooty Hill – 31 August
The division bowled 5 pins over average at Rooty Hill with 26 200 games and 1 700 and 3 600 series. Leaders Rooty Hill Rhinos extended their lead to 39 points winning 17-2 while 2nd place Lidcombe Lynx won 10½ - 8½ against 7th place Strathfield Sharks. 3rd place Bowlarama Alleycatz won 11-8 against 6th place Campbelltown City Sixers while 5th place Rooty Hill Strikers beat 4th place Strathfield Vikings 14-5 swapping positions with them. The gap between 2nd and 7th is 15½ points. Rooty Hill Pikachoos won 13-6, Mittagong Highlanders won 12-7, Rooty Hill Explosion won 12-7 and Strathfield Scorpions won 15-4. The high game went to Western Force 946, Pikachoos 945 and Sixers 932. The series went to Pikachoos 2694, Sixers 2656 and Lynx 2631.
