Div 1 Week 15 – Strathfield Superbowl – 1 June
The division bowled just over average at Strathfield with 25 200 games and 5 600 series. The high game went to Chris Greaves 267, David Chi 255, Ray Vandine 237, reserve Ryan Chi 236, Adam Burrows 231, Chris again 230, Wolf Miller 226, Garry Graham and Michael Burrows 225 and Robert Mitreski and Rob Vamvas 224. Leaders Bowlarama Blackjacks won 13-6 and extended their lead to 8½ points as 2nd place Tenpin City Dark Knights lost 11-8 to Campbelltown City Chihuahuas. 3rd place Bowlarama Gorillas also lost 12½ - 6½ to Gosford Grenades but retained 3rd place by 3 points as Fairfield Odd Bodz won 10-9. Wetherill Park Guns won 17-2 to move within 1½ points of 4th place while Rooty Hill Rogues scored 15½ on the bye. The high game went to Grenades 969, Chihuahua s 947 and Blackjacks 940. The series went to Chihuahuas 2745, Grenades 2693 and Gorillas 2656.
Div 2 week 16 – Tenpin City – 1 June
The division bowled 1½ points over average at Tenpin City with 19 200 games. The high game went to Ray Dillon and Angela Francis 225. The male high games then went to Bruce Worrell 224, Matt Jeffress 222, Dave Anderson 221, Mark Foster 220, William Scheers 216, Chris Prince, Rob Ciacciarelli and Nathan Bracey 215 and Joe Wrublewski and Daniel Staples 212. The ladies high games continued with Madison McCooey 221, Ros Kirkland 187 and 185, Fay Pipe 183, reserve Lisa Love 182, Kathy Compton 180, Sandra Burchall 177 and Kay Ginger with a pair of 175’s. The series went to Rob 592, Nathan 585, Ray 573, Derek Kellard and Matt 568, Mark and Michael Pipe 558, Nadim El Haddad and David Collins 555 and Joe 554. The ladies series went to Madison 551, Angela Francis 535, Ros 518, Fay 501, Kay 495, Lisa 493, Ros Dowton 486, Sandra 471 and Tracy Hodgson and Kathy 470.
Leaders Rooty Hill Rhinos won 14-5 and extended their lead to 21½ points as 2nd place Strathfield Vikings won 12-7. 3rd place Lidcombe Lynx lost 10-9 to Wetherill Park Cobras and were joined in 3rd place by Bowlarama Alleycatz who won 12½ - 6½. Campbelltown City Sixers moved into 5th spot winning 15½ - 3½ while Rooty Hill Strikers moved into 6th spot winning 14-5. Western Force won 14-5 as did Rooty Hill Pikachoos. 2nd to 8th are only 15 points apart. The high game went to Rhinos 929, Alleycatz 919 and Lynx 907. The series went to Rhinos 2675, Force 2542 and Alleycatz 2483.
