Div 2 Week 12 – Wetherill Park – 4 May
The division bowled 2 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 31 200 games and 3 600 series. The high game was shared by Brendan Barker and John Barrett 245 each, followed by Mathew Anderson 234, Brendan again 232 and 231, Michael Pipe 228, Tony Sutton 223, Nick Frost and Mathew again 219 and Dave Collins and Nick again 217. The series went to Brendan 708, setting a new high for the season, Nick 629, Peter Mills 608, John 585, Michael and Mathew 581, reserve Ecky Liem 576, David 573, Ray Dillon 572 and Michail Wrublewski 570. The ladies high game went to Maria Wrublewski 211, Ros Kirkland 207, Maria again 193, Angela Francis 190, Kathy Compton 186, Ros Dowton 182, Madison McCooey 180, Jasmine Hall and Kerry Horvat 177 and Maria again 176. Leaders Rooty Hill Rhinos lost 10-9 to Wetherill Park Cobras but extended their lead to 15 points as 2nd place Strathfield Vikings lost 11-8 to Rooty Hill Strikers. Lidcombe Lynx won 12-7 over 3rd place Strathfield Sharks to move up from 4th to equal 2nd with Vikings, while 5th place Bowlarama Alleycatz won 11-8 to move into 4th spot. Mittagong Highlanders won 13-6 to move up to equal 6th with Strikers and Wetherill Park Rebels won 14½ - 4½. Rooty Hill Pikachoos won 12-7 and Windsor Wildcats won 16-3. The high game went to Alleycatz 967, Lynx 966 and Campbelltown City Sixers 913. The series went to Alleycatz 2713, Lynx 2668 and Sixers 2659.
