Div 1 Week 8 – Fairfield 7-10 Split – 30 March
The division bowled 8 pins under average at Fairfield with 14 200 games and 1 600 series. Leaders Tenpin City Dark Knights played 2nd place Bowlarama Blackjacks and lost 11½ - 7½, retaining top spot by just 2 points. 3rd place Bowlarama Gorillas won 10-9 to trail 2nd place by 3 points while Gosford Grenades moved within 6½ points of 3rd winning 17-2. Fairfield Odd Bodz won 13-6, while Rooty Hill Rogues won 11-8 and Strathfield 5 of a Kind scored 11 on the bye. The high game went to Grenades 911, Odd Bodz 910 and Gorillas 895. Equal 2nd place Rooty Hill Rhinos won 11-8, dropping to equal 3rd place as Western Force jumped from 6th to equal 3rd winning 13-6. Equal 4th Strathfield Vikings and Bowlarama Alleycatz both won 11-8 and both dropped to equal 5th spot. Strathfield Sharks won 16-3 to move up from 9th to 7th while Wetherill Park Rebels won 13½ - 5½. The top 6 teams are separated by 4½ points. The high game went to Sharks 937, Alleycatz 932 and Campbelltown City Sixers 928. The high series went to Rebels 2618, Rhinos 2578 and Highlanders 2569.
