Div 1 Week 3 – Fairfield 7-10 Split – 23 February
The division bowled 16 pins under average at Fairfield with 7 200 games and 1 600 series. Leaders Fairfield Underdogs lost 15-4 to Wetherill Park Guns dropping to 3rd place while Bowlarama Gorillas moved up from 3rd to the top spot winning 15-4. Tenpin City Dark Knights remained in 2nd place by ½ point winning 12-7. Bowlarama Blackjacks claimed 4th spot outright winning 11-8 while Fairfield Odd Bodz slipped from equal 4th to equal 5th with Guns winning 10-9. The high score went to Campbelltown City Chihuahuas 880, Gorillas 875 and Blackjacks 873. The series went to Blackjacks 2527, Guns 2482 and Gorillas 2457.
Div 2 Week 3 – Wetherill Park – 23 February
The division bowled 5 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 21 200 games and 4 600 series. The high game went to Chris Prince 264, setting the new high for the year, followed by William Scheers 258, Chris again 236, Les Dunn and Ray Dillon 236, Michael Pipe 235, Phil Isaac 234, Nathan Bracey and Matthew Anderson 223 and Matt Jeffress 214. Leaders Lidcombe Lynx lost to 3rd place Rooty Hill Rhinos 13-6, dropping to 5th place while Rhinos jumped to equal top spot. 4th place Western Force joined them in equal 1st winning 14-5, while 2nd place Rooty Hill Strikers lost 10-9 to Mittagong Highlanders and dropped to 4th place. 5th place Strathfield Vikings moved into 2nd spot 1 point behind the leaders winning 16-3 while Bowlarama Alleycatz moved into 6th spot winning 14-5. Wetherill Park Rebels won 13-6, Rooty Hill Pikachoos won 15-4 and Wetherill Park Cobras won 14-5. The high game went to Vikings setting the new high game with 1056, followed by Rebels 941 and Rhinos 913. The series also a high for the year, went to Vikings 2717, followed by Alleycatz 2628 and Cobras 2594.
