Div 1 Week 23 – Tenpin City – 18 August
The division bowled 5 pins under average at Tenpin City with 25 200 games and 6 600 series. The high game went to Janelle Crass 257, followed by Helen Cios 234, Meaghan Curtis 224, Vicki McCaffrey 212, Janelle again 210, Michelle Simmonds 202, Theresa Boyle 201, her first 200 in Bowl Sydney, Janelle again and Michelle again 191 and Helen again 190. The series also went to the ladies, with Janelle scoring 658, followed by Helen 603, Meaghan 581, Michelle 547, Vicki 522, reserve Kayleen Watts 490, Jodie Terry 486, Theresa 473 and Amy Brown 468. The male high game went to Ron Abdilla 254, Wolf Miller 248, Shane Brown 234, Greg Farraway 225, Garry Ridgeway 224, with Chris Hampshire also scoring 224, twice, Josh Vanderkolk 223 and Allan Taylor 221. The male series went to Chris 658, Wolf 649, Shane 630, Greg 613, Garry 596, Doug Elliott 592, Josh 590, Ron Abdilla 577 and Mark Ward 574.
Leaders Wetherill Park Guns won 13-6, while 2nd place Windsor Wolverines moved to 11 points behind, winning 15-4. 3rd place Wetherill Park Bandits won 16-3 over 4th place Bowlarama Hotshots while Rooty Hill 5 of a Kind moved within ½ point of Hotshots winning 12-7. The high game went to 5 of a Kind 1003, Wolverines 961 and Bandits 960. The series went to 5 of a Kind 2859, Bandits 2835 and Wolverines 2831.
Div 2 & 3 did not play this weekend.
