Div 1 Week 19 – Wetherill Park – 21 July
The division bowled 6 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 41 200 games and 9 600 series. The high game went to Rodney Kitley 278, George Antaky 265, Reece Hines 262, Wolf Miller 258, Glenn Rowland 247, Shane Brown 245, Doug Lenton 243 and Josh Vanderkolk 242. The ladies high game went to Amy Brown 270 and 256, Janelle Crass 248, Michelle Simmonds 224, Jodie Terry 217, Meaghan Curtis 214, Janelle again 212 and Amy again and Janelle again 205. The high series went to Amy 731, Janelle 665, Meaghan 595, Jodie 572, Michelle 548, Meg Abdilla 525 and Evelyn O’D onnell 519. Leaders Wetherill park Guns won 16-3 and extended their lead to 7 points as 2nd place Windsor Wolverines won 10-9. 3rd place Wetherill Park Bandits won 13-6 while 4th place Bowlarama Hotshots won 12-7. The high game went to Guns 1104, 1101 and 1015. Rooty Hill 5 of a kind rolled 1016 and Hotshots 1014. The series went to Guns 3220, a new high for the season, followed by Hotshots 2920 and Rooty Hill Rogues 2840.
Div 2 Week 20 – Gosford Bowl – 21 July
The division bowled 1 pin under average at Gosford with 19 200 games and 3 600 series. The high game went to Franck Hervouet 257, Brad Cook 237, Manny Bugay 228, Ray Dillon 225, David Blevins 224, Dave Stenstra 221, Murray Walker 214, John Pope 213, Chris Greaves 212 and Phil Meurant 211. Leaders Bowlarama Boomerangs won 12-7 and had their lead cut to 12½ points as Tenpin City Pirates won 14-5. 3rd place Campbelltown City Alleygators won 11-8 over 4th place Windsor Rockets and 5th place Rooty Hill Rhinos lost 12-7 to Strathfield Sharks, but the big mover was Tenpin City Dark Knights who jumped from 6th to equal 3rd winning 14-5. Lidcombe Lightning won 14½ - 4½. The high game went to Dark Knights 951, Sharks 947 and Lightning 944. Leaders Strathfield Vikings won 14-5 and extended their lead to 9½ points as 2nd place Rooty Hill Strikers lost 10-9 to 3rd place Rooty Hill Pikachoos. Pikachoos slipped to 4th as Wetherill Park All Stars won 12-7 and moved past them into 3rd spot. Western Force won 13-6 and moved ½ point behind Pikachoos in 5th spot. Windsor Wildcats won 12-7 and moved up from 7th to 6th while Bowlarama Bombers scored maximum 19 on the bye to close in on 8th spot. The high game went to Strikers 1013, Vikings 955 and Pikachoos 914. The series went to Vikings 2705, Strikers 2684 and Pikachoos 2658.**
