Weekly Update: 17th February 2018

Div 1 Week 2 – Wetherill Park – 17 Feb
The division bowled 10 pins over last week’s average with 44 200 games and 13 600 series. The high game went to Shane Brown with a perfect 300, followed by Andrew Parker 287, Wolf Miller 278, Mark Ward 277, Kim Morris 266 and 265, Glenn Rowland 254, David Chi 247, Reece Hines 242 and Peter Daly 238. The series went to Kim 756, followed by Shane 751, Reece 689, Glenn 677, Wolf 676, Andrew 655, Mark 640, Josh Vanderkolk 635 Rodney Kitley 602 and Peter 601. The ladies high game went to Amy Brown 247, followed by Helen Cios 235, Amy again 232, Janelle Crass and Helen again 221, Amy again and Janelle again 215, Meaghan Curtis 211, Michelle Simmonds 209 and Jodie Terry 201. The series went to Amy 694, Helen 626, Janelle 615, Meaghan 585, Jodie 547, Michelle 536, Meg Abdilla 508 and Evelyn O’Donnell 504.

The biggest winner on the day was Windsor Wolverines who won 19-0 and moved into outright 1st place, with Wetherill Park Guns winning 12 ½ - 6 ½ and moving into 2nd. Wetherill Park Bandits held onto 3rd spot despite losing 12-7 to Bowlarama Hotshots who moved up to 6th, while Rooty Hill 5 of a Kind ended up in 4th place despite losing 13-6 to Rooty Hill Rogues who moved up to 5th. The high game and new Bowl Sydney all time record went to Wolveri nes with 1227, followed by Rogues 1096, 5 of a Kind 1088, Guns 1067, Rogues again 1021 and Wolverines again 1001. The series went to Wolverines 3188, Rogues 3091 and Guns 2963.
Div 2 Week 2 – Tenpin City – 17 Feb
The division bowled 4 pins over last week’s average at Tenpin City with 26 200 games and 5 600 series. The high game went to Ray Dillon 257, followed by Michael Campbell 246 and 245, with Manny Bugay also scoring 245, Dave Stenstra 244, Jared Kirkland 235, Darryl Burton 226, Alan Wilson 225, Ray Vandine 223 and Graeme Pulbrook 216. The series went to Michael with 666, Dave 634, Ray Dillon 628, Manny 619, Jared 613, Darryl 580, Jason Cowan 579, Chris greaves 573, Michael Pipe 566 and Mark Foster 565. The ladies high game went to Ros Dowton 203, Loretta Harris 194, Melissa Webb 182, Julie Strickland 180, Maria Wrublewski 177, Angela Francis 176, Nicky Foster, Louise Morgan and Melissa again 174 with Julie again 173 and Leonie Ince 172. The series was shared by Ros and Angela with 506 each, followed by Louise 498, Melissa 493, Nicky 489, Julie 484, Kay Ginger 479, Leonie 477 and Wendy Kennedy 470.

Leaders Tenpin City Dark Knights increased their lead to 3 points 13-6 against 3rd place Strathfield Sharks. Bowlarama Boomerangs moved into 2nd place with a 13-6 win, while Windsor Rockets dropped from 2nd to 3rd after winning 11-8. The biggest winner was Rooty Hill Rhinos with 14-5 win that moved them off the bottom up to 7th place, Tenpin City Pirates won 13-6 to move up to 4th while Campbelltown Alleygators won 11-8 to move into 5th place. The high game went to the Rhinos 1001, followed by Pirates 936 and Rooty Hill Hurricanes 924. The series went to Rhinos 2726, Pirates 2681 and Boomerangs 2611.
Div 3 Week 2 – Wetherill Park – 17 Feb
The division bowled 3 pins under last week’s average with 20 200 games and 6 600 series. The high game went to Kyle Keith-Wheatley 248, followed by William Scheers 246 and 236, with Derek Kell ard also scoring 236, Chris Prince 234, Nathan Bracey and Chris again 233, Nick Frost 225, Robert Ward 222, Chris again 218 and Les Kirkland 217. The series went to Chris 685, William 661, Nick 643, Kyle 636, Nathan 622, Derek 619, Robert 574, Les 555, Mark Goggin 548 and Matt Burchell 546. The ladies high game went to Jasmine Hall 217, followed by Abigail Keith-Wheatley 197, Janice Hill and Sandra Stanshall 186, Abigail again 184, Madison McCooey 181 and 180, with Sandra again also scoring 180, Madison 173 and Sandra again 170. The series went to Sandra 536, Madison 534, Jasmine 516, Abigail 513, Janice 494, Maxine Jones 487, Sheree Kellard 430 and Sue Turrall 415.

Leaders Wetherill Park All Stars lost 10-9 to Campbelltown City Dragons and dropped to equal 2nd as Mittagong Highlanders won 13-6 to move into the top spot and Strathfield Vikings won 17-2 to move into equal 2nd with All Stars. Rooty Hill Strikers scored 15 on the bye to move into 4th place with Windsor Wildcats winning 16-3 to be ½ point behind in 5th place. Western Force won 13-6 to close out the round. The high game went to Vikings 994, with Dragons 924 and Force 917. The series went to Vikings 2842, Highlanders 2598 and Force 2554.
