Weekly Update: 1st July 2017

Div 1 Week 20 – Wetherill Park – 1 July
The division bowled 9 pins over average at Wetherill P ark with 64 200 games and 16 600 series. The high game went to Ross Brown 280, with Phil Meurant 279, John Raftry 269, Ross again 257, Josh Vanderkolk 248, Paul Mifsud 247, Josh again 246, George Antaky and Chris Boyle 235. The series went to Ross 748, Rodney Kitley 696, Josh 675, Phil 656, Reece Hines and George 655, Shane Bond 633 and Paul Mifsud 630. The ladies high game and a new high for the season went to Amy Brown 268, with a 244 and 223. Sarah Heath scored 234, Evelyn O’Donnell 221, Janelle Crass a pair of 217’s, Sarah again 213, Jodie Terry 205, Janelle again 204, Trudy Gould 201 and Sarah again 200. The series, also a new high for the season, and a personal best went to Amy 735, with Sarah 647, Janelle 638, Evelyn 567, Trudy 542, Jodie and Meg Abdilla 538 and Kayleen Watts 512.
As it was a positional round Leaders Tenpin City Reaper Crew played 2nd place Wetherill Park Guns and lost 15-4 dropping to 2nd place by 1½ points. 3rd place Wetherill Park Bandits lost 11-8 to Bowlarama Hotshots but hung onto 3rd spot by 1 point, from Campbelltown Cougars who won 16-3 and jumped up to 4th spot 2½ points ahead of Hotshots. Wetherill Park Outsiders scored 13 ½ points and Rooty Hill Roos scored 14. The high game went to Guns 1106, followed by Hotshots 1068, Cougars 1056, Guns again 1054, Outsiders 1053, Hotshots again 1051, Cougars again 1039, Bandits 1036, Guns 1012 and Reaper Crew 1000. The series went to Guns 3172, followed by Cougars 3063 and Hotshots 3039.
Div 2 Week 20 – South Strathfield – 1 July
The division bowled 5 pins under average at Strathfield with 25 200 games and 4 600 series. The high game went to Neil Mills 280, followed by Ray Dillon 268, Rob Mitreski 235, John Dowton 227, David Landrigan and Neil again 225, Ewan Thomas 221 and Neal Kennedy and Ray Vandine 213. The series went to Neil 697, Ray Dillon 629, John 613, Ray Vandine 600, Rob Mitreski and Rob Vamvas 593, reserve Peter Adams 580, Ewan 576, David 570, Jared Kirkland 560 an d Graeme Pulbrook 559.
The ladies high game went to Madison McCooey 221, Margaret Rogers 212, Rose Lucas 192, Rebecca Taduran 182, Angela Francis 180, and 178, Leonie Ince 176, Margaret again 175 and Kay Ginger 172. The series went to Margaret 557, Madison and Angela 507, Rose 501, Kay 494, Sandra Burchall 468, Maria Wrublewski 466, Melissa Webb and Rebeccanne Farr 458, Ros Dowton 456 and Merle Turner 455.
Leaders Wetherill Whisperers won 13-6, but had their lead cut to 1 point as Rooty Hill Rhinos won 14-7. 3rd place Strathfield Tigers won 15-4 to be placed just 1 point behind Rhinos leaving the top three teams separated by 2 points. 4th place Bowlarama Alleycatz lost 10-9 to Bowlarama Dolphins and dropped to 6th as Gosford Grenades scored 16½ points and Strathfield Sharks 16 on the bye. Campbelltown Alleygators won a close game 10-9. The high game went to Grenades 955, dolphins 943 and Sharks 940. The series went to Grenades 2709, Dolphins 2679 and Whisperers 2665.

The division bowled 11 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 25 200 games and 5 600 series. The high game went to Nick Frost 257, Dave Anderson 254, reserve Bob Cohen 246, Brad Cook 236, William Scheers 234, Kyle Keith-Wheatley 229, Nick again 228, Joe Luca 225 and Bob Quinn 221. The series went to Nick 687, Bob Cohen 646, Bob Quinn 632, Dave 626, William 616, Brad and Joe 591, Les Dunn 589, Nathan Bracey 578 and Phil Spender 576. The ladies high game went to Debbie van der Meer 212, Christine Plunkett 205, Jasmine Hall 200, Debbie again 195, Julie Strickland 188, Christine again 186, Pam Russell 184, Debbie again and Maxine Jones 182 and Pam again 181. The series went to Debbie 589, Christine 544, Pam 524, Jasmine 518, Julie 513, Ros Kirkland and Maxine 474, Marianne Keith 442, Abigail Keith-Wheatley 437 and Kerry Horvat 432.
In the positional round leaders Lidcombe Looneys won 15-4 against 2nd place Campbelltown City Dragons increasing their lead to 32 points. 3rd place Rooty Hill Pikachoos lost 11- to Strathfield Saints and 5th place Gosford Giants lost 14-5 to Wetherill Park All Stars who then overtook them on the table. Bowlarama Lollipops scored 13½ points to also move up 1 position while Windsor Bushrangers won 13-6. The high game went to Looneys 967, Saints 923 and Pikachoos 919. The series went to Looneys 2762, Saints 2696 and Lollipops 2640.
