Weekly Update: 3rd June 2017

Div 1 Week 17 – Wetherill Park - 3 June
The division bowled 11½ pins over average at Wetherill Park with 66 200 games and 20 600+ series, including 4 700 series. The high game went to Kim Morris 276, Josh Vanderkolk 267. Darren Topolski 266, Josh again 263, Ross Brown & Andrew Parker 258, Kim again 254, Ross again 248, Rodney Kitley 246, Dean Colton 244, Shane Brown 243 and Reece Hines 241. The series went to Josh 756, Kim, his first 700 series in Bowl Sydney, 740, Andrew 726, Ross 718, Rodney 682, Chris Hampshire 669, Warren Cockerill 660, Glenn Rowland 654 and reserve Alex Sole 642. The ladies high game went to Meaghan Curtis 237, Amy Brown 231, Sarah Heath with a brace of 222’s Amy again 218, Jodie Terry 214 & 212, Janelle Crass 210, Sarah again 204, Helen Cios 201 and Sindy Searle 190. Leaders Tenpin City Reaper Crew lost 13-6 to Wetherill Park Outsiders while Wetherill Park Bandits won 11-8 and cut the lead to 5 pins. 3rd place Wetherill Park Guns won 12-7 and 4th place Campbelltown Cougars won 13-6 with less than 17 points between 1st and 4th. Rooty Hill Roos won 13-6 to close out the round. The high game went to Bowlarama Hotshots 1100, followed by Guns 1095, Bandits 1068, Guns again 1054, Outsiders 1052, Cougars 1051, Guns again 1029, Bandits again 1027, Rooty Hill Rogues 1014 and 1013 and Bandits 1002 as there were 11 games over 1000. The series went to Guns 3178, setting the new high for t he year, Bandits 3097 and Hotshots 3018.
Div 2 Week 17 – Strathfield Superbowl – 3 June
The division bowled 7 pins under average with 24 200 games and 4 600 series. The high game went to Neil Mills 253, followed by Ray Vandine and Jared Kirkland 246, Rob Mitreski 243, reserve Bob Cohen 232 and 226, Ray again 225, Tony Sutton 215, Bob again 214, Derek Kellard 212 and Peter Prince 210. The series went to Bob 672, Rob & Neil 634, Ray 617, Jared 599, Tony 593, Ray Dillon 588, Graeme Pulbrook 583, Garry Graham 579 and Ewan Thomas 566. Leaders Rooty Hill Rhinos lost 13-6 to Windsor Wanderers but retained the lead as 2nd place Wetherill Whisperers lost 12-7 to 4th place Strathfield Sharks who moved up to 3rd spot as a result. 3rd place Strathfield Tigers also lost, going down to Windsor Rockets 11-8 while Bowlarama Alleycatz in equal 4th won 11-8 leaving 10 points between 1st and 5th. Gosford Grenades won 15-4, Bowlarama Dolphins won 11-8 and Campbelltown City Thunder scored 7½ on the bye. The high game went to Grenades 946, Alleygators 901 and Tigers 889. The series went to Grenades 2704, Sharks 2528 and Rockets 2513.
Div 3 Week 17 – Wetherill Park – 3 June
The division bowled 8 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 18 200 games and 7 600 series. The high game went to Nick Frost 277, Kyle Keith-Wheatley 268, Matt Smith 248, Brad Cook 236 and 235 Phil Spender and Vince Granturco 224, Matthew Morris and Kyle again 215 and Bob Quinn 211. The series went to Brad 677, Kyle 665, Nick 614, Bob 613, Phil 607, Matt Smith 605, Dave Anderson 593, Les Dunn 585, Mark Goggin 576 and Vince 574. The ladies high game went to Janine Hendry with 229 and 202, Pam Russell 193, Christine Plunkett 186, Janine again 181, Christine again 180, Eileen Egan 175 and Abigail Keith-Wheatley and Debbie van der Meer 173. The series went to Janine 612, her first 600 series in Bowl Sydney, Eileen Egan, 501, her first 500 series in Bowl Sydney, Christine also bowled a 501, Marianne Keith 482, Debbie 476, Pam 459, Jasmine Hall 442, Maxine Jones 428 and Kerry Horvat 427.
Leaders Lidcombe Looneys won 12-7 and maintained their lead as Campbelltown Dragons also won 12-7 against 3rd place Strathfield Saints. Rooty Hill Pikachoos won 14-5 and moved within ½ a point of 3rd place. Rooty Hill Strikers won 11-8 and Lidcombe Crazy Tigers won 12-7. The high game went to Dragons 934, Pikachoos 926 and Saints 901. The series went to Dragons 2699, Saints 2613 and Looneys 2601.
