Weekly Update: 8th April 2017

Division 1 Week 10 – Campbelltown City – 8 April

The division bowled 6½ pins under average at Campbelltown with 37 200 games and 11 600 series. The high game went to Trent Miller 267, Glenn Rowland 247, Andrew Parker 246, Shane Bond and reserve Alex Sole 244, Doug Elliott and Shane Brown 234, Josh Vanderkolk and Darren Topolski 233 and Phil Meurant 228. The series went to Josh 667, Phil 658, Alex 631, Shane Brown 623, Glenn 619, Darren 616, Trent 613, Shane Bond 606, Doug 605 and Andrew 604. The ladies high game went to Amy Brown 226, Janelle Crass 223, Kayleen Watts 211, Amy again 209, Sarah Heath 207 and 205, Meaghan Curtis 201, Sarah again 200, Kayleen again 195, Janelle again 184 and Jodie Terry 181. The series went to Sarah 612, Amy 595, Kayleen 586, Janelle 578, Meaghan 533, Jodie 499 and Evelyn O’Donnell 494.

As it was the positional round, leaders Tenpin City Reaper Crew played 2nd place Campbelltown Cougars and lost 11-8 with the lead cutting down to 3 points. Wetherill Park Bandits in 3rd place lost 11-8 to Wetherill Park Guns and Bowlarama Hotshots won 12-7 and moved up to equal 4th with Guns. Bowlarama Hotshots won 12-7, Wetherill Park Outsiders won 14-5 and Campbelltown Jaguars won 12-7. The results now mean that there are only 13½ points between 1st and 5th a quarter of the way through the competition. The high game went to Bandits 1033, Reaper Crew 1032, Guns 1012 and Hotshots 1002. The series went to Guns 2889, Bandits 2880 and Hotshots 2838.

Division 2 Week 10 – Windsor – 8 April

The division bowled 1 pin under average at Windsor with 30 200 games and 7 600 series. The high game went to Jared Kirkland 258, Neil Mills 247, Allan Taylor 241, reserve Peter Adams 235, Mikel Petersen 231, Jared again 228, Tony Sutton 223, Nathan O’Neil 215, Michail Wrublewski and Daniel Prince and Tony all on 214. The series went to Jared 687, Allan 639, Neil 632 , Ray Dillon and Tony 618, Nathan 603, Steve Price 602, Mikel 598, Chris Prince 593 and Joe Wrublewski 571. The ladies high game went to reserve Chris Pulbrook, followed by Dallas Archer 212, Rhonda Gow 196, Melissa Webb 194, Kay Ginger 192, Maria Wrublewski 188, Carol Stenstra 187, Angela Francis 180, Rose Lucas 178 and Ros Dowton 177. Leaders Rooty Hill Rhinos won 12-7 while 2nd place Strathfield Tigers won 11-8, but dropped to 3rd on win percentage as Wetherill Whisperers won 15-4 and moved up to 2nd. 4th place Bowlarama Alleycatz lost 10-9 to Campbelltown City Thunder and dropped to 5th as Strathfield Sharks won 15-4. Rooty Hill Rumble jumped up 2 places to 6th scoring 15 on the bye and Bowlarama Dolphins won 13-6. The high game went to Thunder 1010, followed by Dolphins 968 and Sharks 920. The series went to Dolphins 2733, Thunder 2658 and Rhinos 2616.

Division 3 Week 10 – Strathfield Superbowl – 8 April

The division bowled 3 pins under average at Strathfield with 9 200 games and 1 600 series. The high game went to William Scheers 243, followed by Matt Smith 226, William again 220, along with Kain Creed also 220, Nick Frost 216, Bob Quinn 214, Nick again 213, Phil Spender 211, reserve Scott Lewis 200, Mark Goggin 199 and Nathan Bracey 196. The series went to William 641, Nick and Matt 589, Bob 573, Phil 565, Kain 562, Robert Kelly 547, Mark 541, Brad Cook 537 and Nathan 536. The ladies high game went to Julie Strickland 177, Jasmine Hall 172, Pam Russell 171, reserve Kim Cook and Pam again 168, reserve Louise Kelly 167, Ros Kirkland 163, Chris Plunkett 157 and Debbie van der Meer and Marianne Keith 156. Leaders Lidcomb e Looneys lost 11-8 against Strathfield Saints cutting their lead to 3 points, while Gosford Giants in 3rd place won 11-8 against 4th place Campbelltown City Dragons as Rooty Hill Pikachoos moved into equal 4th spot scoring 13½ points. Bowlarama Lollipops won 13-6 and Windsor Bushrangers won 14-5. The high game went to Saints 890, followed by Giants 862 and Lollipops 851. The series went to Lollipops 2459, Giants 2450 and Saints 2427
