Div 1 Week 35 – Wetherill Park – 22 October

The division bowled 10 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 54 200 games and 18 600 series. The high game went to Kristain Asquith 290, followed by Shane Bond 277, John Dowton 267, Brad Searle 266, Glenn Rowland 258, Alex Sole 256, Alan Shephard 254, Alex again 253, Reece Hines 246, Michael Marker 245, Darren Topolski 244 and Steve Hawes 243. The series went to Alex 726, Kristain 712, Reece and Shane 688, Alan 679, Daniel Webb 672, John 642, Michael 640, Mark Ward 635 and Steve 633. The ladies high game went to Leigh Shephard 243 and 234, with Amy Brown on 236 and 216, Trudy Gould 206, Meg Abdilla 200, Evelyn O’Donnell 195, Jodie Terry 192, Meg again 190, Amy again 185 and reserve Monica Holyoak 181. Leaders Campbelltown Cougars played 2nd place Strathfield Sandbaggers and lost a close game 10-9 cutting their lead to 7, while Wetherill Park Guns in 3rd place made up ground winning 15-4 and is now just 3 pins behind 2nd spot. Wetherill Park Bandits deferred their match but dropped to 5th spot on win percentage as Lidcombe Lightning won 14-5. Mittagong Reapers won 10-9, Windsor 9 or Better 13-6, while Wetherill Park Phoenix scored the maximum 19 off the bye. The high game went to Sandbaggers 1076 and 1047, 2nd was Lightning 1064 and 1022, Phoenix 1041, Reapers 1037 and Guns 1009. The series went to Sandbaggers 3075, Phoenix 2959 and Lightning 2948.

Div 2 Week 31 – Windsor – 22 October

The division bowled 12 pins under average at Windsor with 10 200 gam es and 2 600 series. The high game went to Wolf Miller 244 and 213, Robert Vamvas 212, Michael Wrublewski and David Collins 207, Dave Stenstra 206, Robert again 204, Ray Vandine 203, Ray Dillon 202 and Nicholas Liem 199. The series went to Wolf 608, followed by Robert 607, Dave Stenstra 557, Ray Vandine 549, Franck Hervouet 533, Rob Mitreski 521, Dean Harris 518, Ray Dillon 517 and Michael Pipe and David Collins 515. The ladies high game went to Madison McCooey with 223 and 197, Kay Ginger 195, Rachel Kim 190, Rebecca Taduran 188, Margaret Rogers 184, Kay again 181, Maria Wrublewski 180 and Melissa Webb and Merle Turner 178. The series went to Madison 591, Kay 545, Rachel 499, Rebecca 484, Melissa 482, Merle 479, Leonie Ince 461, Maria 460, Sandra Burchall 448 and Margaret 445.

Leaders Windsor Wanderers played 2nd place Campbelltown Alleygators and won 12-7, extending their lead to 8 points while 3rd place Bowlarama Alleycatz lost 8½ - 10½ to Wetherill Park Rangers and 4th place Lidcombe Lyrebirds lost 14-5 to Windsor Rockets. Strathfield Sharks won 10-9, as did Tenpin City Bandits, while Gosford Grenades won 11½ - 7½. Earlier, Tenpin City Slickers won 11-8 on their post bowl from 17 September. The high game went to Wanderers 907, Sharks 872 and Alleygators 847. The series went to Wanderers 2546, Bandits 2415 and Alleygators 2409.

Div 3 Week 31 – Fairfield 7-10 Split – 22 October

The division bowled 9 pins under average at Fairfield with 7 200 games and 1 600 series. The high game went to Nick Frost 231, followed by Bruce Worrell 223, Kyle Keith-Wheatley 216, Les Kirkland and Robert Kelly 203, Nathan Bracey 202, Mark Ellison 199, and Jim Pavlic 196. The series went to Nick with 615, Robert 555, Matt Burchell 543, Mark 541, Kyle 508, Nathan and Paul Woodberry 507, Bruce 505, Richard Malcolm 503, Les 502 and William Scheers 501. The ladies high game went to Lorraine Hazelwood 210, Julie Strickland 188, Mari anne Keith 182, Lorraine again 175, Debbie van der Meer 174, Jane Austin 171, Tracey Hodgson, Shelly Cox and Maxine Jones 167 and Maria Scheers 165. Leaders Strathfield Saints scored 7 on the bye but 2nd place Wetherill Park All Stars failed to capitalise losing 12-7 to Lidcombe Hells Angels remaining 1½ points behind. 3rd place Bowlarama Lollipops lost 13-6 to Fairfield Dragons who are now only ½ point behind them. Gosford Giants won 17-2, Liverpool Lions won 14-5 and Campbelltown Strikers won 11½ - 7½. The high game went to Giants 869, Hells Angels 868 and Dragons 861. The series went to Dragons 2482, Giants 2413 and Hells Angels 2367.
