Weekly Update: 2nd July 2016

Div 1 Week 20 – Tenpin City – 2 July

The division bowled 9 pins over average at Tenpin City with 68 200 games and 21 600 series. The high game and new high for the year went to Shane Bond 298, followed by Andrew Parker 277, Mark Ward, Matt Zerafa and Tristan Frew 269, reserve Richard Palma 249, Garry Ridgeway and Kristain Asquith 248 and Rodney Kitley, Kim Morris and Darry again 244. The series went to Andrew 725, followed by Shane 705, Kristain 688, reserve Neil Mills 681, Richard 661, Garry 660, Peter 653, Matt 646 and Jason Raftry 645. The ladies high game went to Sarah Heath 247, Hayley Fisher 237, Janelle Crass 234, Sarah again 223 and 221, reserve Jessica Jones 214, Jodie Terry 209, Jessica again and Kayleen Watts 201 and Janelle again 200. The series went to Sarah 691, Janelle 633, Hayley 612, Jessica 605, Leigh Shephard 535, Michelle Simmonds 533, Jodie 533, Meg Abdilla and Kayleen 523 and Jan Edwards 522.
Leaders Wetherill Park Guns maintained their lead winning 16-3 as 2nd place Strathfield Sandbaggers also scored 16 on the bye. 3rd place Campbelltown Cougars also won 16-3 while 4th Wetherill Park Bandits won 13-6. Lidcombe Lightning also won 13-6, Fairfield Bruises won 15-4 and Mittagong Reapers 11-8. The high game went to Cougars 1091 and 1057, Guns 1048 and 1009 and Lightning 1015. The series went to Cougars 3104, Guns 2988 and Bruises 2928.

Div 2 Week 18 – Gosford – 2 July.

The division bowled 6 pins under average at Gosford with 18 200 games and 1 600 series. The high game went to Jared Kirkland 233 and 230, Harry Collins 228, Garry Graham 221, Mark Foster 220, Roy Ahn, Joe Wrublewski and Nick Liem 213, Colin Kendall 212 and Les Dunn 208. The s eries went to Jared +641, followed by Roy 594, Harry 590, Colin 588, Les 569, Ewan Thomas 564, Ray Vandine 557, Dean Harris 546 and Murray Walker 545. The ladies high game went to Melissa Webb and Madison McCooey both scoring 213, followed by Leonie Ince 197, Melissa again 192 and 191, Maria Wrublewski 189, Madison 186, reserve Chris Pulbrook 185, Madison again 182, Rachel Kim and reserve Nicky Foster 181 and Maria again 178. Leaders Campbelltown Alleygators lost 11-8 to Western Warriors and dropped to 2nd place o win percentage as Bowlarama Alleycatz won 13-6 to take the top spot. 3rd place Lidcombe Lyrebirds lost a close game 10-9 to Strathfield Superstrikers while 4th place Windsor Wanderers won their game 10-9. Strathfield Sharks won 11-8, as did Tenpin City Bandits. The high game went to Alleycatz 920 followed by Superstrikers 913 and Bandits 902. The series went to Superstrikers 2590 followed by Lyrebirds 2563 and Alleycatz 2526.

Div 3 Week 18 – Gosford – 2 July

The division bowled 3 pins under average with 8 200 games and 2 600 series. The high game went to Nick Frost with 264 and 256, followed by Robert Kelly and Bob Quinn 230, Bruce Worrell 224, Mark Ellison 217 and 208, Matt Smith 206, Chris Prince 199, Richard Malcolm 196 and John Carrer 194. The series went to Nick 704, followed by Mark 602, Bob 592, Bruce 586, Calvin 557, Matt 544, Robert 533, Chris 524, John 514 and Wayne Newton and Glenn Luxford 508. The ladies high game went to Janine Hendry 194, followed by Julie Strickland 188, Lorraine Hazelwood 187, Maxine Jones 185, Angela Francis 183, Tracy Hodgson 181, Abigail Keith-Wheatley 179, Ros Shepherd 177, Julie again 176 and Ros Kirkland 175. Leaders Strathfield Saints won 13-6 against 3rd place Gosford Giants pushing them down to 5th place while Bowlarama Lollipops in 2nd place moved within 4 points of the leaders scoring 16 on the bye. Fairfield Dragons won 12-7 to move into 3rd spot and Wetherill Park All Stars won 13-6 to move up to 4th place. Campbelltown Strikers won 14-5, Liverpool Lions scored 10 ½ points and Bowlarama Lollipops scored 15 on the bye. The high game went to Dragons 947, All Stars 894 and Giants 853. The series went to Dragons 2569, All Stars 2509 and Lidcombe Hells Angels 2400.
