Div 1 Week 5 – Tenpin City – 27 Feb

The division bowled 4½ pins over average at Tenpin City with 55 200 games and 9 600 series. The high game went to Chris Bedwell 268, Peter Daly 259, Shane Bond 248, Adam Spicer 246, Kristain Asquith and Alex Sole 245, Alex again 240, Warren Cockerill 238, reserve Howie Goss 237 and reserve Phil Meurant 235. The series went to Alex 711, followed by Phil 673, Chris and Shane 665, Simon Millman 658, Peter 634, Kristain 606 and Chris Hampshire 601. The ladies high game went to Kayleen Watts 216, Trudy Gould 210, Annette Bateup 208, reserve Meaghan Curtis 204, Trudy again 202, Amy Brown 198 and 193, Meaghan again 192 and Jodie Terry 190. The series went to Trudy 595, Amy 572, Kayleen 563, Meaghan 554, Meg Abdilla 532, Hayley Fisher and Jodie 529 and Annette Bateup 497.

Leaders Strathfield Sandbaggers retained the lead by 2½ points despite losing 12-7 to Fairfield Bruises. 2nd place Wetherill Park Guns also lost 12-7 to Mittagong Reapers allowing Campbelltown City Rebels to jump into 2nd spot winning 13-6. Gosford Gremlins scored 16 on the bye while Windsor 9 or Better won 14-5, Wetherill Park Bandits 12-7 and Lidcombe Lightning 10½ - 8½. The high game went to Bandits 1100, Reapers 1058, Guns 1035 and Lightning 1015. The series went to Bandits 2991, Reapers 2974 and Guns 2892.

Div 2 Week 4 – Wetherill Park – 27 Feb

The division bowled 8 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 39 200 games and 11 600 series. The high game went to Wolf Miller 289, followed by Derek Kellard and Harry Collins 257, Roy Ahn 256, reserve Daniel Prince 253, Joseph Otera 239, Wayne Lewis 237, Garry Graham 236 and David Collins and Michael Campbell 227. The series went to Derek with 674, followed by Daniel 661, Michael 653, Harry 648, Wayne 639, Wolf and Ray Dillon 612, Allan Bereyne 610, Jared Kirkland 609, reserve Anthony Turnbull 606 and Roy 600. The ladies high game went to Sandra Burchall 213, followed by Rebeccanne Farr 194, Melissa Webb 191 and 186, Rebecca Taduran 184, Rebeccanne again and Melissa again 172, Rachel Kim and Kay Ginger 169 and Carol Stenstra and Sheree Kellard 168. Leaders Windsor Wanderers won 10-9 but had their lead cut to 1 points as Gosford Grenades in 2nd place won 10½ - 8½. Equal 2nd place Tenpin City Slickers lost 11-8 to Strathfield Superstrikers dropping to 5th allowing Lidcombe Lyrebirds 11 ½ points to move into 3rd place and Windsor Rockets 12 points to move into 4th. Campbelltown City Alleygators scored 16 to move into equal 6th place while Strathfield Superstrikers scored 11. The scores are very tight with only 10 ½ points separating 10th from 1st. The high game went to Superstrikers 986, followed by City Slickers 980 and Wanderers 979. The series went to Superstrikers 2867, City Slickers 2795 and Lyrebirds 2758.

Div 3 Week 4 – Fairfield 7-10 Split – 27 Feb

The division bowled ½ a pin over average at 7-10 Split with 12 200 games and 1 600 series. The high game went to Matthew Morris 236, followed by reserve Rick Russell 226, reserve Bob Cohen 222, Tony Sutton 220, Matt Burchell 218, Mark Ellison 211, Robert Kelly 210, Chris Prince and Bob Cohen again 208, Mark again 204 and Bob Quinn 203 and 201. The series went to Bob Cohen 621, Robert 576, Tony 574, Mark 573, Bob Quinn 568, Matt 564, Nick Frost 552 and William Scheers and Rick 548. The ladies high game went to Marianne Keith 199, Angela Francis 193, Debbie van der Meer 182, Angela again 180 and 178, Lorraine Hazelwood 179, 178 and 171, Maria Scheers 165 and Marianne again 164. The series went Angela 551, Lorraine 528, Marianne 517, Debbie 505, Maria 449, Janine Hendry 447, Ancita Levy 423, Ros Kirkland 427 and Tracy Ho dgson 402.

Leaders Bowlarama Lollipops lost 7½ - 11½ to Lidcombe Hells Angels dropping to 3rd spot while Hells Angels moved into 2nd spot, while 2nd place Gosford Giants scored 12 to move into top spot. Equal 3rd places Strathfield Saints and Fairfield Dragons drew with each other to drop to equal 4th. Wetherill Park All Stars scored 16 while Liverpool Lions scored 13½ and Windsor Wonders scored 10 on the bye. The high game went to Hells Angels 899, Lions 869 and All Stars 851. The series went to Hells Angels 2516, Lions 2449 and All Stars 2438.
