Div 1 Week 22 – Bateau Bay - 8 Aug

The division bowled 4 pins under average at Bateau Bay with 37 200 games and 7 600 series. The high game went to Simon Millman with 275, followed by Mark Ward 265, Reece Hines 256, Rodney Kitley, 244, Simon again 237, Neal Kennedy 236, Paul Logan 226, Kristain Asquith 223, Josh Vanderkolk 222 and Chris Hampshire 221. The series went to Simon 697, Rodney 659, Reece 650, Paul 628, Chris 624, Peter Daly 611 and Mark 603. The ladies high game went to Monique Rusin with 220 and 209, with Janelle Crass 209, Trudy Gould 203 and 200, Amy Brown 194, Sarah Heath 192, Janice Edwards 190 and Jodie Terry and Amy again 185. The series went to Monique 587, Trudy 586, Amy 538, Janelle 535, Janice 528, reserve Renee Pepper 525, Sarah 514, Meg Abdilla 510, and Annette Bateup 501.

Leaders Tenpin City Tomahawks played 3rd place Campbelltown Cougars and won 15-4 to extend their lead to 12½ points as 2nd place Wetherill Park Bandits lost 14-5 to Fairfield Fireballs. 4th place Bateau Bay Reaper Crew lost 13-6 to Wetherill Park Phoenix as 5th place Lidcombe Lightning scored 13 on the bye to move up to 3rd spot. Windsor Pirates and Mittagong Warriors both won 12-7 to close out the round. The high game went to Tomahawks 1097, with Fireballs 1011 and Cougars 964. The series went to Tomahawks 3034, Fireballs 2910 and Couga rs 2763.

Div 2 Week 25 – Strathfield Superbowl – 8 Aug

The division bowled 2 pins under average at Strathfield with 40 200 games and 8 600 series. The high game went to reserve Bob Cohen 275, Chris Greaves 248, Ray Vandine 232, Graeme Pulbrook 228, Robert Ward 224, Ewan Thomas and Murray Walker 223, Chris Bedwell 222, Allan Bereyne and John Pope 221 and Allan Taylor and Ray again 220. The series went to Bob 697, followed by Chris 30, Ewan 628, Ray Dillon 621, Michael Campbell and Ray Vandine 609 and Wolf Miller and Murray 608. The ladies high game went to Kay Ginger 195, Sandra Burchell 192, Melissa Webb 191, Rebeccanne Farr 189, Lisa Love 184, Rose Lucas 181, reserve Dallas Archer 178, Evelyn O’Donnell 177 and Sharon Murphy 175. Leaders Bowlarama Alley Catz played 2nd place Western Warriors and won a close game 10-9 while 3rd place Bowlarama Hotshots played 4th place Campbelltown City Alleygators and also won 10-9. Campbelltown City Stingers scored 11½ points to move into joint 4th spot while Strathfield Superchargers in 6th won 11-8. In a round of close results the biggest win was Windsor Tigers with 14-5. The high game went to Superchargers 961, Warriors 950 and Stingers 949. The series went to Alley Catz 2738, Superchargers 2705 and Tigers 2699.

Div 3 Week 25 – Wetherill Park – 8 Aug

The division bowled 9 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 28 200 games and 5 600 series. The high game went to Brad Cook 266, followed by Bob Quinn 244, Nick Frost 243, Bruce Worrell 235, Daniel Prince, Tom Hodson and Nathan Bracey all 234, William Macrohon 227, Mark Goggin 221 and Brady Pirie and Ecky Liem 219. The series went to Bob 616, Nick 614, Brad 611, Brady 607, Ecky 605, Daniel and Bruce 598, Pa ul Woodbury 587 and William 585. The ladies high game went to Marianne Keith 212, reserve Ancita Levy 205, Maria Scheers 197, Kerry Horvat 193, Angela Francis 192, Debbie van der Meer 191, Marianne again 189 and Lorraine Hazelwood 188. The series went to Marianne 580, followed by Lorraine 537, Kerry 528, Angela 521, Ancita 513, Debbie 501, Natasha Bracey 480 and Eileen Egan 474.

Leaders Campbelltown City Chiefs played 3rd place Strathfield Saints and won 11-8 while 2nd place Wetherill Park All Stars closed the gap slightly winning 13-6. 4th place Wetherill Park Rangers scored 13 but 5th place Lidcombe Grimreapers lost by 2 points to Bowlarama Mixed Bag but retained their spots. The big winners were Bateau Bay Buddhas with 16 points, Windsor Cannons 14 and Strathfield Dragons 13½. The high game went to Saints 994, Chiefs 949 and Rangers 941. The series went to Chiefs 2752, Dragons 2659 and Saints 2654.
