Div 1 Week 21 &nda sh; Gosford – 1 August

The division bowled 8 pins under average at Gosford with 27 200 games and 2 600 series. The high game went to Shane Bond with 240 and 237, Reece Hines 231, Steve Hawes and Paul Neich 227, Rodney Kitley 220, Simon Millman 219 and Alan Shephard 217. The series went to Shane 672, reserve Bob Cohen 596, Reece and Andrew Parker 594, Alan 593, Mark Ward 586 and Simon 583. The ladies high game went to Janelle Crass 236, Vicki McCaffrey 221, Monique Rusin 216, Meg Abdilla 215, reserve Renee Pepper and Janelle 202, Trudy Gould 200 and 197 and Sarah Heath 194. The series went to Janelle 618, Trudy 576, Sarah 555, Meg 545, Monique 541, Renee 533 and Amy Brown 526.

Leaders Tenpin City Tomahawks played 3rd place Bateau Bay Reaper Crew and won a close game 10-9, while 2nd place Wetherill Park Bandits made up some ground winning 14-5 and closing the gap to 2½ points. Campbelltown Cougars scored 18 on the bye and jumped into 3rd, pushing Reaper Crew down to 4th spot while 5th place Lidcombe Lightning won 12-7 to close the gap on 4th to just 1½ points. In the other two games, both Fairfield Fireballs (6th) and Windsor Pirates (7th) scored 14 and remained in their current positions. The high game went to Cougars 1040 followed by Tomahawks 972 and Pirates 939. The series went to Cougars 2913 followed by Pirates 2720 and Fireballs 2657.

Div 2 Week 24 – Wetherill Park – 1 August.

The division bowled 8 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 59 200 games and 17 600 series. The high game went to marcel Sleiman with 279, followed by Steve Fairbairn 278, reserve Darren Topolski 257, Chris Greaves 255, Ray Dillon 254, Matthew Smith and Mark Barber 245, David Blevins 244, John Raftry 241 and Mark Foster 238. The high series went to Ray 688, Chris 683, Matthew 675, Steve 671, Darren 652, David 644, John 642 and Garry Graham and Les Dunn 634. The ladies high gam e was shared by Sharon Murphy and Sandra Burchell on 202 with Maria Wrublewski 198, reserve Dallas Archer 193, Wendy Kennedy 190, Lisa Love 185, reserve Chris Pulbrook and Sharon again 181, Sandra again 180, Kay Ginger 178, Rebeccanne Farr 176 and Sheree Kellard and Sandra again 174. The series went to Sandra 556, followed by Sharon 532, Maria 518, Evelyn O’Donnell 493, Lisa 486, Wendy 481, Kay 472, Rebeccanne 464, Rose Lucas 462 and Nicky Foster and Sheree 460.

Leaders Bowlarama Alley Catz won 13-6 and extended their lead to 16½ points as 2nd place Western Warriors played 4th place Campbelltown City Alleygators and lost 13-6. 3rd place Bowlarama Hotshots won 14-5 and 5th place Campbelltown City Stingers won 12-7 in a high scoring game with Strathfield Superchargers. The high game went to Stingers 1031followed by Windsor Wizards 1029, Windsor Rockets 1010 and Superchargers 1007. The series went to Stingers 2977, followed by Superchargers 2858 and Rockets 2762.

Div 3 Week 24 – Strathfield Superbowl – 1 August

The division bowled 6 pins under average at Strathfield with 11 200 games and 2 600 series. The high game went to Scott Lewis with 246 and 245 with Daniel Prince also scoring 245, Phil Spender 242, Bob Quinn 236, Chris Prince 224, Phil again and Chris again 214, William Scheers 213, Chris again 212 and reserve Matthew Smith 201. The series went to Scott 661, followed by Chris with his personal best 650. Phil bowled 596, Bob 590, Daniel 576, William 576, Nicholas Liem 563, Mark Goggin 545 and Nathan Bracey 531. The ladies high game went to reserve Katlyn Hayward 191, followed by Lorraine Hazelwood 180, Kerry Horvat 178, Debbie van der Meer 174, Angela Francis 171, Julie Strickland 166 and Marianne Keith 164. The series went to Katelyn 501, Julie 460, Angela 455, Marianne 446, Debbie 440, Kerry 434 and Maria Scheers 415.

Leaders Campbelltown City Chiefs won 16-3 and extended their lead to 22½ points as 2nd place Wetherill Park Al Stars played 3rd place Strathfield Saints and lost by 4 points. 4th place Wetherill Park Rangers won 14-5 as did 5th place Lidcombe Grimreapers. The other big winners were Bowlarama Mixed Bag 15-4 and Mittagong Highlanders 13-6. The high game went to Saints 949, Chiefs 901 and All Stars 898. The series also went to Saints 2680, Chiefs 2582 and All Stars 2516.
