Division 1 Week 14 – W etherill Park – 30 May
The division bowled 8 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 61 200 games and 14 600 series. The high game went to Brad Searle 268, Chris Gervacio 255, Kristain Asquith 249, Steve Hawes and Chris Hampshire 245, Paul Neich 244, Alan Wilson 242 and Shane Brown 240. The series went to Chris Gervacio 713, Steve 70, David Knott 682, Alan 669, Shane 663, Paul Katar 653, Paul Neich 643 and Alex Sole 622. The ladies high game went to Monique Rusin 244, followed by Kayleen Watts 226, Annette Bateup 221, Monique again 215, Amy Brown 214, Monique again 213, Sarah Heath 210, Trudy Gould 208 and Vicki McCaffrey and Michelle Simmonds 207. Leaders Wetherill Park Bandits played 2nd place Tenpin City Tomahawks and won 11-8 to extend their lead to 13½ points. 3rd place Lidcombe Lightning scored 13 and 4th place Bateau Bay Reaper Crew 12 to close the gap on the top two. The big winners on the day were Shelley Rogues with 16 on the bye and Mittagong Warriors 13. The high game went to Bandits 1069 & 1007, Rogues 1043 and 1021, Fairfield Fireballs 1039, Lightning 1031, Tomahawks 1008 and Reaper Crew 1002. The series went to Bandits 3016, Rogues 3010 and Reaper Crew 2892.
Division 2 Week 1 – Strathfield Superbowl – 30 May
The division bowled 3 pins under average at Strathfield with 33 200 games and 4 600 series. The high game went to Ray Dillon 247, Les Dunn 246, Allan Taylor 242, Ewan Thomas 235, Ray Vandine 231, Wolf Miller 229 and Chris Bedwell and Ray Vandine again 227. The series went to Ray Vandine 631, followed by Ray Dillon 626, Wolf 619, Les 616, reserve Adrian Booy returned to Bowl Sydney with 594, George Antaky 589, Allan 587 and John Raftry and Ewan on 580. The ladies high game went to Sharon Murphy with 200, followed by Rebeccanne Farr 179, Melissa Webb 172, Merle Turner and Wendy Kennedy 165, Sandra Burchall and Melissa again 162 and Nicky Foster with a pair of 160’s. Leaders Bowlarama Alley Catz lost 10-9 to Bowlarama Hotshots and had their lead cut to 8 points. 2nd place Wetherill Park Piranhas won 10-9 and 3rd place Western Warriors won 11-8, but both teams dropped one place as Campbelltown City Stingers scored 14 in the biggest win of the day to jump up to 2nd spot. The high game went to Strathfield Superchargers 996, followed by Hotshots 954 and Campbelltown City Alleygators 935. The series went to Superchargers 2723, Hotshots 2662 and Alleygators 2658.
Division 3 Week 16 – Windsor – 30 May
The division bowled 2 pins over average at Windsor with 17 200 games and 4 600 series. The high game went to Bob Quinn 246, Nick Frost 234, Brad Cook 224 and 222, Nathan Bracey 221, Chris Prince 218, Mark Sainsbury 217 and Possum O’Brien 212. The series went to Nick 620, followed by Brad 618, Nathan 611, reserve Bob Cohen 606, Possum 589, Nicholas Liem 588, Bob Quinn 587 and Mark Goggin 582. Leaders Campbelltown City Chiefs won 15-4 and now lead the competition by 14½ points. 2nd place Strathfield Saints played 5th place Wetherill Park Rangers and lost 15-4 dropping to 3rd as Wetherill Park All Stars scored 15 to overtake them. In a round full of big wins Liverpool Lions scored 16½ points moving up one, Windsor Wags 15 and Lidcombe Grimreapers 14. The high game went to Chiefs 952, followed by Rangers 907 and Grimreapers 899. The series went to Chiefs 2669, Rangers 2584 and Grimreapers 2556.
