Division 1 Week 13 – Fairfield 7-10 Split – 23 May
The division bowled 3½ pins over average at Fairfield with 45 200 games and 14 600 games. The high game went to Reece Hines 258, Shane Bond 245, David Chi 244, reserve Daniel Webb 241, Robert Delahoy and Simon Millman 236, Chris Gervacio, Alex Sole and reserve Bob Cohen 235, Chris Hampshire 234 and Alan Shepherd and Kristain Asquith 233. The series went to Simon 683, Alex 666, Bob 653, Chris Hampshire 651, Reece 644, Shane 634, Robert 628 and Daniel 625. The ladies high game went to Monique Rusin 224, Kayleen Watts and Sarah Heath 219, Sarah and Monique 211, Amy Brown 203, Trudy Gould 192, Annette Bateup and Sarah again 190 and Janelle Crass 189. The series went to Sarah 620, Monique 609, Annette 545, Kayleen 537, Trudy 532, Jodie Terry 512 and Amy 510.
Leaders Wetherill Park Bandits maintained their 10 ½ point lead despite only scoring 9 on the bye as Tenpin City Tomahawks lost 10-9 to Windsor Pirates. Lidcombe Lightning in 3rd place failed to capitalise scoring a draw against Fairfield Fireballs allowing Bateau Bay Reaper Crew to make up some ground scoring 14½ points to move up to 4th spot. The other big winner on the day was Wetherill Park Phoenix scoring 14 points. The high game went to Reaper Crew 1005, Phoenix 990 and Tomahawks 987. The series went to Reaper Crew 2910, Tomahawks 2849 and Pirates 2843.
Division 2 Week 15 – Tenpin City – 23 May
The division bowled almost 2 pins over average at Tenpin City with 42 200 games and 10 600 series. The high game went to Chris Bedwell 279, Wolf Miller 258, Chris Greaves 256, Mark Foster 247, Neil Maloney 244, Michael Campbell 237, Harry Collins 236 and Garry Graham 234. The series went to Chris Bedwell with 713, Ray Vandine 639, Wolf 638, Jared Kirkland 634, John Raftry 629, Les Dunn 616, Chris Greaves 615 and Garry 612. The ladies high game went to Lisa Love 207, followed by Maria Wrublewski and Rebeccanne Farr 192, Annette Simmonds 188 and Bec again 188, Evelyn O’Donnell and Sheree Kellard 187, Sandra Burchall 185 and Kay Ginger and Nicky Foster 181. The high series went to Bec 554, Kay 532, Evelyn and Lisa 509, Sandra Burchall 501, Maria 498 and Melissa Webb 492.
Leaders Bowlarama Alley Catz increased their lead to 11½ points winning 11-8 as 2nd place Wetherill Park Piranhas drew with Campbelltown City Stingers who dropped from 3rd to 4th when Western Warriors won 12-7. 5th place Bowlarama Hotshots dropped to 6th losing 10-9 to Windsor Wizards while Tenpin Terriers won 13-6 to move up. The other big winner was Lidcombe Looneys with a 13-6 result. The high game went to Piranhas 1022 followed by opponents Stingers who bowled 1006 and lost that game, then Wizards 978. The series went to Piranhas 2763, Warriors 2736 and Hotshots 2724.
Division 3 Week 15 – Wetherill Park – 23 May
The division bowled 6½ pins over average at Wetherill Park with 32 200 games 8 600 series. The high game went to Nicholas Liem 267, Bob Quinn 248. Phil Spender 236, Robert Ciacciarelli and Ricky Andrews 235, Nick Frost 227 and Mick Young 225. The series went to Bob 679, Nicholas 662, Robert 642, Nick 637, Mick 629, Phil 615, Brad Cook 608 and Ricky 605. The ladies high game went to Angela Francis 215, Maxine Jones 208, Debbie van der Meer 206, Lorraine Hazelwood and Sandra Ashton 201 and Jenny Williams and Pam Russell 179. The series went to Debbie 550, Lorraine 543, Angela and Maxine 530, Jenny 498, Sandra 497, Rita Harris 487 and Pam 477.
Leaders Campbelltown City Chiefs scored 14½ points but 2nd place Strathfield Saints scored 15 to cut the lead to 8½ points. 3rd place Wetherill Park All Stars won 14-5 and 4th place Lidcombe Grim Reapers won 15-4 as the top 4 all registered big wins. The high game went to Saints 982, All Stars 981 and Wetherill Park Rangers 941. The series went to All Stars 2873, Saints 2769 and Rangers 2639.
