Div 1 Week 9 – Bateau Bay – 18 April

The division bowled 4 pins under average at Bateau Bay with 35 200 games and 8 600 series. The high game went to Chris Gervacio 269 with Andrew Parker 246, Kristain Asquith 245, reserve Neil Mills 233, Rodney Kitley 232, Kim Morris and Paul Neich 231 and Alan Wilson 229. The series went to Chris Gervacio 670, followed by Kristain 650, Andrew 640, Kim 638, Chris Arthur 630, Neil 608 and Paul 606. The ladies high game went to Kayleen Watts with 257 followed by Sarah Heath 217 and 212, Amy Brown 200, Monique Rusin 197, Amy again 194, Kayleen again 191, Janelle Crass 185, Amy again 183, Jodie Terry 11 and Trudy Gould with a pair of 180’s. The series went to Kayleen with 619, Sarah 579, Amy 577, Monique 521, Trudy 512, Annette Bateup 497, Janelle 490 and Jodie 488.

Leaders Wetherill Park Bandits won 13-6 to extend their lead to 8½ points as Tenpin City Tomahawks won 12-7. 3rd place Campbelltown Cougars retained their position scoring 12 on the bye while 4th place Windsor Pirates dropped to 5th losing by 8 points to bottom team Mittagong Warriors who moved up 2 places. Lidcombe Lightning won 14-5 to move into 4th spot. The other big winner was Fairfield Fireballs who moved up 2 spots to 6th with a 14-5 win. The high game went to Bandits with 987, followed by Cougars with 975 and Lightning 974. The series went to Lightning 2807, with Bandits 2787 and Tomahawks 2745.

Div 2 Week 11 – Windsor – 18 April

The division bowled 2 pins over average at Windsor with 44 200 games and 13 600 series. The high game went to Chris Greaves with 255 just ahead of Jim Vlahos who scored a personal best 254. They were followed by Garry Graham 252, Howie Goss 248, Ray Vandine 246, John Raftry 244, Manuel Bugay 243, Wolf Miller 235, Derek Kellard 234, John Pope and Craig Brandon 233 and Graeme Brown and reserve Dean Harris 232. The series went to Chris 658, followed by Wolf 650, Ray 649, Jim 642, Manuel 638 and Ray Dillon 630. The ladies high game went to Kay Ginger 203, followed by Nicky Foster 198, Leonie Ince 183, Alison Bird 181, Maria Wrublewski 180, Melissa Webb 178, Sharon Murphy 177, Rebeccanne Farr with a pair of 176’s and Evelyn O’Donnell and Merle Turner 175. The series went to Melissa 515, Leonie 512, Kay 511, Rebeccanne 507, Nicky 503, Sharon 494, Dallas Archer 493 and Maria 490.

Leaders Western Warriors lost a close game 10-9 to Campbelltown City Alleygators and had their lead cut as both Bowlarama Alley Catz <10-9> and Campbelltown City Stingers <12-7> both moved into joint 2nd place 1 point behind. Lidcombe Looneys maintained their 4th post on win percentage despite losing against Alley Catz but 5th place Wetherill Park Piranhas dropped to 8th spot after losing 11-8 to Tenpin Terriers with Bowlarama Hotshots moving into 5th winning 12-7. The high game for the week went to Hotshots 998 with Piranhas 980 and Stingers 965. The series went to Hotshots 2791 followed by Terriers 2736 and Stingers 2735.

Div 3 Week 11 – Wetherill Park – 18 April

The division bowled just under average at Wetherill Park with 16 200 games and 2 600 series. The high game went to Bruce Worrell 246, Bob Quinn 244, Phil Spender 242, Bruce again 234, Anthony Turnbull 215, Robert Ciacciarelli 214, Brad Cook 211 and Richard Malcolm 210. The series went to Bruce 650, followed by Robert 624, Phil Spender 595, Bob 589, David Latham 584, Daniel Prince 568, Paul Woodberry 55 3, Anthony 550 and Nathan Bracey 549. The ladies high game went to Marianne Keith 186, Pam Russell 185, Maxine Jones 181, reserve Tracy Hodgson and Marianne again 177 and Tina Sainsbury, Angela Francis and Debbie van der Meer all on 174. The series went to Marianne 520, Maxine 505, Tracy 488, Pam 478, Ros Shepherd 464, the two Debbies, van der Meer and Liddell on 455 and Angela 449.

Leaders Strathfield Saints lost 11-8 to 3rd place Wetherill Park All Stars and had their lead cut to 4½ points as Campbelltown City Chiefs won 15-4. 4th place Wetherill Park Rangers maintained their position despite losing by 4 points to Bateau Bay Buddhas and 5th place Strathfield Dragons moved closer to 4th winning 12-7. The other big winner on the day was Lidcombe Grimreapers who won 14-5. The high game went to Saints 956, Dragons 896 and All Stars 893. The series went to All Stars 2533, followed by Dragons 2472 and Grimreapers 2457.
