Division 1 Week 8 – Wetherill Park &a mp;ndash; 28 March

The division bowled 4 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 49 200 games and 7 600 series. The high game went to Paul Katar with 299! followed by Chris Arthur 269, Reece Hines 268, Peter Daly 246, David Chi 244, Paul again 236, reserve Darren Topolski with a pair of 236’s and reserve Robbie Alston 235. The series went to Darren with 696, just ahead of Paul 695, Chris 690, Robbie 651, Peter 642 and Steve Hawes 639. The ladies high game went to Sarah Heath 237, Janelle Crass 209, Sarah again 203, Monique Rusin 201, Vicki McCaffrey 198, Sarah again 195, and Annette Bateup 191. The series went to Sarah 635, Janelle 565, Monique 558, Vicki 557, Annette 527, Meg Abdilla 509 and Jodie Terry 502.

Leaders Wetherill Park Bandits won 11½ - 7½ but had their lead trimmed to 7½ points as Tenpin City Tomahawks scored 14 on the bye. Campbelltown Cougars held onto 3rd spot despite losing 13½ - 5½ to Wetherill Park Phoenix while Windsor Pirates scored 12 to move within ½ point. 5th place Bateau Bay Reaper Crew lost by 8 points to 6th place Lidcombe Lightning resulting in the teams swapping positions. The other big winner was Shelly Rogues who won 14-5. The high game went to Bandits 1029, followed by Lightning 1016 and Phoenix 989. The series went to Tomahawks 2914, Phoenix 2912 and Bandits 2898.

Division 2 Week 9 – Tenpin City – 28 March

The division bowled 4½ pins over average at Tenpin City with 50 200 games and 11 600 series. The high game went to Chris Bedwell 258, Manuel Bugay 247, Matt Farrelly 246, Matt Smith 245, Garry Graham 244, Chris Greaves 239 and Jared Kirkland 238. The series went to Chris Bedwell with 727 a new high for the year, followed by Jared 667, Ray Vandine 658, Manuel 649, Leon Keith 648, Chris Greaves 647, Wolf Miller 643 and Ray Dillon 641. The ladie s high game went to Evelyn O’Donnell 204, followed by Maria Wrublewski, 2001, Leonie Ince 200, Nicky Foster 191, Evelyn again and Rebeccanne Farr 190 with Merle Turner and Madison McCooey 187. The series went to Evelyn 564, followed by Madison 547, Rebeccanne 538, Maria 530, Leonie 521 and Merle 502.

Leaders Western Warriors lost 10-9 to bottom of the table Windsor Rockets but hung onto 1st spot by 3 pins as Campbelltown City Stingers won 13½ - 5½ against 3rd place Lidcombe Looneys dropping them down to 5th spot. 4th place Bowlarama Alley Catz won 12-7 to move into 3rd while 5th place Tenpin Terriers moved up to 4th despite losing 12-7 to Gosford Grenades. The other big winners on the day were Campbelltown City Alleygators 14½ and Bowlarama Hotshots 13½. The high game went to Hotshots 1048 followed by Alleygators 971 and Alley Catz 956, while the series and new high for the year went to Hotshots 2937, Alley Catz 2763 and Stingers 2740.

Division 3 Week – Windsor – 28 March

The division bowled 2 pins over average at Windsor with 16 200 games and 2 600 series. The high game went to Robert Ciacciarelli 242, followed by Phil Spender 231, William Scheers 226, Daniel Prince 224, Scott Lewis 223 and Nick Frost 222. The series went to Nick 632, Phil 626, Daniel 591, William 589, Matthew Jeffress 586, Scott Lewis 568, Mark Ellison 561 and Brad Cook 561. The ladies high games went to Sandra Ashton with 205, 191 & 184, followed by Angela Francis 178, Maxine Jones 177, Pam Russell 172 and Ros Kirkland, Ros Shepherd and Marianne Keith all on 171. The series went to Sandra with 580, followed by Angela and Ros Shepherd 470, Ros Kirkland 466, Rita Harris 463, Kerry Horvat 458 and Pam 454.

Leaders Strathfield Saints extended their lead to 17½ points winning 18-1 while Campbelltown City Chiefs played 5th place L idcombe Grimreapers and won 13-6. Wetherill Park All Stars moved a point closer to 2nd spot with a 14-5 win while Wetherill Park Rangers in equal 3rd dropped to 4th losing 12-7 to 6th place Strathfield Dragons who moved up to 5th place as a result. The other big winner was Windsor Cannons with 16 points moving up 2 places to 11th. The high game went to Saints with 943 followed by Bateau Bay Buddhas 905 and Chiefs 886. The series went to Saints 2797, a new high for the season, followed by Chiefs 2569 and Dragons 2472.
