Div 1 Week 4 – 7-10 Split – 28 Feb
The division bowled 6 pins under average at Fairfield with 29 200 games and 6 600 series. The high game went to Chris Arthur 243, Steve Hawes and reserve Adam Burrows 223, Shane Bond 220, Peter Daly 218, Shane Brown 216 and Luke McMahon 215. The series went to Warren Cockerill 624, Shane 608, Chris 600, Adam 594, Doug Lenton 590, Peter 581 and Robert Delahoy 579. The ladies high game went to Janel le Crass 242, Sarah Heath 233, Monique Rusin 225, Amy Brown 212, Janelle again 211. Monique again 210 and Trudy Gould and Sarah again 202. The series went to Janelle 633, Monique 630, Sarah 605, Amy and Kayleen Watts 565, Meg Abdilla 518 and Trudy 507.
Leaders Wetherill Park Bandits extended their lead to 7 points winning 15-4 but 2nd place Campbelltown Cougars scored 14½ to keep in touch. 3rd place Wetherill Park Phoenix won 11-8 but dropped to 4th as Tenpin City Tomahawks scored 13 to move into 3rd spot. The high game went to Bandits 986, with Tomahawks 949 and Cougars 934. The series went to Bandits 2932, with Cougars 2674 and Tomahawks 2673.
Div 2 Week 5 – Windsor – 28 Feb.
The division bowled 8 pins under average on the tough Holt oil pattern with 21 200 games and 4 600 series. The high game went to Wolf Miller 246, with Ray Vandine 242, Jared Kirkland 237 and 232, reserve Joe Wrublewski 227, Howie Goss 225 and Franck Hervouet 222. The series went to Jared 682, with reserve Alex Sole 624, Wolf 609, Ray 604, Allan Taylor 594, Robert Ward 588, Joe 580 and Franck 579. The ladies high game went to Madison McCooey 199, Annette Simmonds 191, Madison again and Melissa Webb 190, Nicky Foster 177, Kay Ginger 172, Evelyn O’Donnell and Nicky again 168 and Rebeccanne Farr 167. The series went to Madison 539, Nicky 490, Annette 481, Melissa 466, Lou Morgan 458, Natasha McDonald 454, Kay 444 and Evelyn 443.
Leaders Tenpin Terriers lost 15-4 to 4th place Lidcombe Looneys dropping to 3rd spot as Looneys took the top position. 2nd place Western Warriors maintained their position with 12-7 win while 3rd place Campbelltown Stingers lost 13-6 to Tenpin City Bandits dropping to 6th as Bandits took 4th place. The other big winner on the day was Wetherill Park Piranhas 13½-5½ over Bowlarama Alley Catz. The high game went to Piranhas 968, Lo oneys 892 and Warriors 878. The series also went to Piranhas 2633, Looneys 2571 and Warriors 2523.
Div 3 Week 5 – Tenpin City – 28 Feb
The division bowled average at Tenpin City with 18 200 games and 2 600 series. The high game went to Nick Frost 245, Mark Ellison 235 and 232, Matt Jeffress 228, Bruce Worrell 225, Paul Hudson 224 and Nathan Bracey 221. The series went to Mark 681, Nathan 642, Nick 599, Bruce 589, Matt 586, Daniel Prince 579 and Bob Quinn 570. The ladies high game went to Rita Harris 188, Denise Young 178, Sandra Ashton 171, Debbie van der Meer 170, Sandra again 169 and Maxine Jones and Debbie 168. Leaders Strathfield Saints extended their lead with a 17-2 win over 3rd place Liverpool Lions pushing them down to 6th spot while 2nd place Wetherill Park All Stars won 12-7. Campbelltown City Chiefs in 4th spot lost a close game 10-9 to Windsor Wags and remained in situ as Wetherill Park Rangers jumped over them to 3rd winning 16-3. The other big winner on the day was Strathfield Dragons who won 14-5. The high game went to Dragons 880, followed by Lidcombe Grim Reapers 860 and Windsor Cannons 848. The series went to All Stars 249
